What do we have, what do we need?

After two days of intense discussion, this session is thought to summarize the findings and look towards the future. Physicians are asked to formulate their needs for improved hard- and software. Research engineers are to comprehend this input and gain new impressions for their work. Open discussion between all participants will allow to clearly assess the achievability of different ideas.

Discussion between physicians & engineers, scientists performing experimental work & the modeling community, research groups focusing on different theories will lead to roadmaps of how to tackle the riddle of AFib.

Program topics include:

  • What do we have - What do we need?
  • Welcome to 2020 - Catheter ablation guided by computer models?
  • Wishes and desires - hardware and software

Panel discussion:

  • Which studies can verify current theories about AFib?
  • What do we need for that?
